Pascal Mutel got involved in global warming by becoming the first florist in Paris to organize a special Fair Flowers Fair Plants (FFP) label. Today he invites the consumers and all the flower industry to get involved with him.
A young man from Auvergne (center of France) opens his own shop in Paris. Pascal Mutel was born in 1969 in Clermond Ferrand , he visited the world ( Africa, Oceania, United States, England) before deciding to establish in Paris after a floral training in la Piverdière ( Angers). In 1991 he opens his first shop in Montmartre and creates his first big events. (Grand prix d'Amérique à Vincennes, Meurice, Lanvin etc).
In 1995, Pascal Mutel was looking for a better and bigger and more central place. He then decided to set up his shop 95 rue de Courcelles 75017 Paris and kept on his Big Event projects in developing Creations for the Crillon, the Bristol; the Westminster etc. He also created Debutants ball and receptions or for the Trophée Lancôme and started realizing decorations all over the world.
In 1998, he was chosen to be the exclusive florist for the Soccer World Cup in all the French sites.
In 2005, Pascal Mutel took over his friend's Christian Tortu famous shop with his sister, 6 rue Carrefour de l'Odéon 75006 Paris.
After his sister's departure for Lausanne he organized all his activities rue de Courcelles and created a decoration factory outside of Paris.
Today he is well known as one of the most famous florists of his generation.
Pascal Mutel is also:
- The first president of the florist trade union chamber in the Parisian region.
- A member of the "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" finals Jury and President of the Jury for the international contest of Douais la Fontaine in 2007.
- International Contest Wedding Paradize Jury President at Chateau de Brissac and "Chevalier du Mérite for agriculture" 2008.
- Member of the Jury for the "Meilleurs Apprentis de France" and President of the Jury of the International contest Piverdie d'or at Chateau de Brissac in 2009.
